Polar Metallic with Cobalt Blue leather interior. Purchased in February of 2002 off the original owner. He purchased the car in November 1990 at Holbert's Porsche in Philadelphia. It is at this dealership that the car was maintained religiously. The original owner had every sales receipt ever acquired from Holbert's, including the receipt for the Porsche car cover and window shade. The car had 87,000 miles on the odometer at the time of purchase, now it reads 104,300 miles. The exterior color is Polar Metallic, the interior is Cobalt blue leather. The upgraded Porsche option of a 10 speaker Alpine stereo and equalizer pounds out tunes when stuck in the San Francisco traffic, where the car currently resides. The car is completely stock.

In September 2002, the car underwent its 90,000 mile overhaul, which included a new timing belt and roller kit, power steering belt, front engine seal kit, alternator belt, water pump, thermostat, complete hose kit, and upper chain slide rail. After that it was driven cross-country to it's home in San Francisco, California.

In March it went in for a complete transmission rebuild, along with the installation of a K&N air filter, performed at A. Bauer Porsche in Oakland, California.

When not hauling down the California coastline, it gets washed and wiped down with a cotton baby diaper and Zymol wax.

Sometimes I wonder if the money absorbed by the car is worth it, but once I get behind the wheel, and start her up--that thought vanishes! Take it out in the twist and turns of Big Sur, and you wonder why you even had that thought.

Pictures taken along the Pacific Coast Highway, somewhere in between San Francisco and Santa Barbara.
